Yes, I dared mention it, reading. What books are you guys currently reading, wether it be for school or on your own will? I'm currently reading Frankenstein in school and I'm reading Warcraft: The Lord of the Clans on my own accord.

Just finished Battle Royale by Koushun Takami. I HIGHLY recommend it. Best $16 and 600 pages I ever spent and read. It is the Japanese version of Lord of the Flys and it is very very good. Made me cringe more than once.

I plan to start reading it after SAT II's

We just finished Julius Caesar in English, and now I have to memorize Antony's speech...grrr...
So, Battle Royale is the "Japanese version" of Lord of the Flies? Sounds good, maybe I'll go get it. (Poor Piggy...)

Battle Royale is 100 times more extreme than Lord of the Flies. Landon, is it true that Battle Royale is so well written that you get close to all 42 of the students?

You don't get close to all of them. Some die before they can have any key part in the book. And I'm currently reading Brave New World. Only on chapter two though.

It's even worse than the movie from what I've heard It is worse than the movie. Especially the part where chigusa and .....well the kid that gets stabbed at the shrine (dont want to spoil the movie). Let me just say that I do not like finger nails now because of the book. You do not get close to ALL of the characters, but you get close to over half of them and really close to like 10-15. The beginning has a whole chapter dedicated to introducing each person.

Well I finished both Frankenstein and Warcraft: Lord of the Clans. I have no idea what I should read next... I still have a couple Forgotten Realms books to read, two Starcraft books, two Diablo books, Harry Potter: Goblet of Fire, and of course Battle Royale to read.

you still haven't read goblet of fire? that came out like... hmm... when did i come out?
anyways, you should read the third book in the diablo series, the one by richard a. knaak, and the one whose name i cannot recall at this very moment (kingdom of something or the other).
oh, and let me take this time to say that any book by richard a. knaak deserves to be read, thank you.

Vell, I am currently vreading Dracula. I'fe even put on a Transylvanian accent! Blah! Sadly, the book has switched to a less interesting perspective between Mina and some "other *&^%@" as I so eloquently put it earlier today.... Anyways, I hope the story switches back to da Count's Castle!
