My computer is installing things by itself, and my Ad-Aware isn't fixing it... I think this is spyware, right??
what are some good spyware removers that isn't ad-aware??

Im had the same problem too some degree, when I turned on my computer these spy programs and stuff so I restored to a few days back and im still geting that stuff, I think its the Internet its a shame

get Hijack this. Also check your add/remove programs for suspicious files installed and remove them. Hijack this is the most powerful ad-remover. Just be careful with it and look at the norton site for removing information.

just one tip for using hijack this on tomcoyote forums...
whenever you make a post, bookmark it, since they get swamped with requests and within a day yours will be on page 300 something

There's also Spybot (www.spybot.info). But for some reason, the new version messes up on my computer. Stupid things.... Bazooka was the most useful for me, though it requires you remove things manually. It basically scans your computer to see what you have, then you click whatever problem you want to remove and it brings you to their site where it has instructions on how to remove it. Doesn't sound that great, but it worked better than other programs for me. I think the site is www.kephyr.com/
