I usually read manga, not watch the anime.
I have a few exceptions;
Last Exile Fullmetal Alchemist: Conquerer of Shambala (Movie) Ouran High School Host Club The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya Lucky Star Ghost In The Shell .hack//SIGN, .hack//DUSK. (Not the twilight bracelet series, tho) And.... maybe one or two others.

Lucky Star?! Blergh...that anime is weird. They spent almost an entire episode talking about how to eat food.

I've been pretty disinterested of the current titles out besides Hidamari Sketch x365. Ah well, maybe I'm growing out of it.

Currently I am watching Macross Frontier, Naturo Shippoden, Bleach, D-Gray Man, and a few random ones that are slow to release.

Been awhile since I posted here. Around the beginning of this year I came across Akagi and it's one of my most fav anime now. Lately I've been watching Saki (another Mahjong anime...go figure) and have been pretty obsessed with finding any Mahjong anime/manga I can get my hands on.
Just recently found out about Tetsuya but haven't had a chance to watch it yet.
Mahjong Animes ftw!

Although I don't think its possible for an anime to ever surpass the awesomeness that is Dragonball Z, I recently watched a subbed version of Code Geass: Lelouch of the Rebellion/R2 online and I'd have to say that it is by far the best anime I've seen in a while. Deathnote comes in as a close second. Anyhow, my recommendations would be : Code Geass: Lelouch of the Rebellion and Code Geass: R2. R2 is just the second season of the first one, but for some reason they're listed as different shows. Deathnote Dragonball Z !! Wolf Rain YuYu Hakusho was pretty cool, also. Naruto Shippudenn: I'm currently following the manga but I would assume the anime is just as good.

Wow, it's been about a year since I posted here about anime. Since then I think I've been reborn or something cause now I'm an Anime addict! I've seen a fair bit of shows now, my favorite are mind game type ones like Akagi, One Outs, Death Note, Kaiji, Code Geass, etc. Also into ecchi type anime as well (pantsu ftw!).
*clears throat*
But yeah, I never knew there were such great shows out there that I never knew existed. When it comes to movies I've seen them all, but this is a whole new hobby that seems to be consuming me lol.
Currently watching: Hajime no Ippo Hikaru no Go Bleach Naruto Agent Aika Clannad Queen's Blade and more...
God I love Anime!

God I love Anime! I loved death note and I'm currently watching some Code Geass. How do Kaiji, One Outs, and Akagi compare?

Akagi and One Outs are all about mind games. Tricking their opponents in order to win. Sort of like Death Note but they involve a game like Mahjong for Akagi or Baseball for One Outs. Kaiji very simply is a desperate man competing in games for his life basically in order to get out of debt. There is a bit of mind games in that too.
The best thing about all 3 of those is that they leave you some crazy cliff hangars after each episode making you want to see what is on the next episode. Great for when you want to marathon a series.
Akagi is definitely my favorite though, probably because it brought me into the whole fansubbing side of Anime, but I just love it so much.

Sorry I haven't been around for a while. I've been busy with stuff. But, what Oldy says is true; Kaiji has a lot of cliff hangers - once you start, you won't be able to stop watching. It's that good. and it basically deals with illegal gambling.
Right now, I'm just watching:
- Naruto - One Piece - Highschool of the Dead
As for manga:
- Veritas - Until Death do us Part - Liar Game (Oldy, start reading this, you won't regret it) - Gamble Fish - Highschool of the Dead
