Well i've been ripping and playing around & making sprite comics for a while now...expecially based on Maple Story. And i thought "Hey! Let's make a sprite comic based on one of my favorite games : Tactics Ogre Knight of Lodis & Final Fantasy Tactics Advance!" But the problem is that EVEN in sprites database they didn't have any other sprite sheets except for Alphonse..would someone be happy to contribute SOME MORE sprite sheets and maps? I want Ostroea Castle, Formido, Jail Cell, Naris Batraal, Rictor, Duke Knights, Giants, Mermaids, Nichart...the list could just go on and on... I would be very VERY happy to have enough resources to supply my needs..

The only thing I can contribute is the spirtes on the website and the maps under my map section. Formido is there as well as Lutra and two others I believe.

That's pretty much the barrier to any sprite comic focusing on any game in the Ogre Battle saga. There've been requests for sprites, but the problem is that capturing sprites just tedious, especially for animations that aren't used very often. And of you think getting sprites is bad, it's practically impossible to get backgrounds. Since the games are in a 3/4 perspective, there are only a few games that fit that style and most of them (BOF 3/4, FFT) aren't exactly easily ripped. The funny thing is today I was starting to play TO again to get a few backgrounds, but unfortunately, I didn't get very far. I think I do have a couple of backgrounds that I captured a while ago. I may eventually use them myself. www.cvrpg.com/destina/images/urodela.gifwww.cvrpg.com/destina/images/sufrir.gif

My brother once fooled with sprites and it is indeed a tedious affair. Backgrounds are best taken off dare I say "emulation software" as you can mess with the visuals. I would like to put them in the maps section if at all possible. I have a few up there and would be more than happy to throw up a few more. Just let me know if that is alright to do...of course credit will be given if you are fine with it.

Of course you can use them. If someone needs to mess with the files to provide the secret location of map items, they can do that as well. I didn't have those two when I initially uploaded the other maps, but I'm far less paranoid now than I was then about credit. There's no need to give me any credit, because I want this to be for the community (and I don't want it to be implied that I made all the maps, as two of the maps you have were NOT made by me), but if you feel obligated, I'm not going to forbid you from mentioning my name. Heck, you can use this short URL if you want. aamf.comThat just redirects to the site, though, so it's not the most stable link.

Could you tell me what other maps of stages you have that I could use in addition to Sufrir and Urodela? I would like to put up as many as I can.

I was about to say none, although I do have this map of the Numida Chronology stage from the Quest Mode. www.cvrpg.com/destina/images/swamp.gifThat's the reason why I started playing tKoL again, even though I didn't get very far. I need those backgrounds! Any maps I have you can use, no questions asked, but I have to capture them first, and I am the slowest person when it comes to capturing things. That's why there are so few backgrounds available. If someone else were to do it, then it would happen much faster.

Ah, Well thanks for the two submissions. I went ahead and updated the site today (semester over and nothing much to do for 2 weeks before work starts). Good luck with those backgrounds and such. Ever now and then I venture over to your site to see the comic.
