Well, who went out and got this badboy?
I certain did, I was at Gamestop at 10am Tuesday and waited till 10:30am until UPS dropped off their new shipments. No guide available till end of July but oh well, thats what gamefaqs is for.
Now for the game, first off im one of the people who found FFTA to be a REALLY good game. Too many people seem to compare it to FFT, and thats not fair cause its such a different game. Besides, to be honest after beating FFT about 5 times or so I STILL dont think the story is that good, or even that understandable.
FFTA2 improves on FFTA by leaps and bounds. Yes there are a lot of the same aspects, but a lot has changed too. Most quest in almost every SRPG is like this "Theres a <insert monster> terrorizing <insert town>. Please go and shove a <insert phallic shaped object> up its ass and save them". Now its cool to kill shit, but its more fun if the 500+ battles you do in the game arent the exact same every time. These quest now are a lot more unique and I think help relieve the stress that sometimes comes with constant grind sessions of battles.
There's some more cool things they added like a Bazaar and Auction system, but really it'll take too long to explain them, just know they are cool.
The downside to it so far after 12 hours? Well, the multiplayer is still pretty homo, its the same one as was in FFTA. Other than that though imo this game is almost as good, if not better than FFT.
Honestly with FFT, there were a few select battles that were very hard, other than that, and especially after you get Cid or Ninjas, its incredibly easy and almost no fun in the end game. Just thought id come out and say it, and none of you can deny it.
