So I'm revisiting this game from 2 years ago. My character this time is a warlock because I never made a Warlock before.
Leveling went like this
I got the +10 magic bonus at the beginning let Ivanna and Rictor do all the killing in the first 2 battles so i could change into a cleric at level 1. Switched to a Knight at level 10 and then a Warlock at level 13 because my str and agi just peaked over 100 and my int was at about 140 so I wanted consistent stat growth and haven't changed since.
Lv 37 stats for Warlock Alphonse
Fire Chaos
Hp:386 Mp: 199
Str: 269 Int: 230 Agi: 222
PA: 323 PD: 457
MA: 230 MD: 294
Mv: 5.2
Equipment
Sherwood Bow I love the extra range too bad I'm on path B so I can't get the set and recruited Glycerenia too early so no Crescente.
Firecrest Pretty Necessary since I'm Lachesising most of the time
Warp Shoes
Ogre Helm
Spells
1. Zorinths Influence: I know this isn't a popular choice but my Lock uses a bow so I'm moving to a lot of different squares and since fire elemental squares seem to be rare in this game and my team has a lot of fire people in it a spell that I can cast on the second turn to add 5-10 dam for every teammate for the rest of the battle is worth it.
2. My second spell will change from Ray of Paralysis to Molten Blade but I never use it.
3. Barren Soul this ability is great because with my all right Int I can move in on slow angry things with low magic defense and easily scoop over 100 hit points from them.
4. Lachesis I gave my character Lachesis and before I gave my swordmaster a snap I was out damaging him
So far I don't have Bogus Hero or War God but I do have Berserk Miracle Centurion and Bullseye one among the other more generic emblems. (the important ones are covered basically)
This character was kind of ambitious but it turned out great. My Lock can warp around the field and do anything I need him to. Place him next to some meleers so he can tank(which he does well by dodging slow characters and absorbing damage[warlocks already have awesome defense]) advance on squishy mages for a OHKO from Lachesis or just provide consistent damage while never getting touched. Ohh if only I could get the Crescent bow.
Just wanted to see what people thought I'm interested in non conventional ass kicking characters. Thinking about making a Clothos Dragoon just because Swordmasters despite their awesometude are boring just because you really do nnnevver get hit. Evvverr.
