Q: What's the difference between a normal RPG and a MMORPG?
A: An RPG is a story-driven game where you play as a character(s) and go through their Journey. These games allow you to "level up" after killing a number of monsters. This means that your character literally becomes stronger, not the player getting better. You communicate with other characters in the game to further continue your character's story. You can also buy items at shopsellers.
An MMORPG is basically the same thing except it can only be played online and the majority of the time they have no story. These type of games make you interact with other players instead of game sprites. Also, in these games, you will find "trade skills" which are there purely for competing to get to the "highest level", getting rich by selling items to other players, and to be able to do something other than killing monsters all the time. Some examples of "trade skills" include Mining, Smithing, Fishing, Cooking, Crafting, Fletching, etc. If you would like to try an MMORPG, go here for a free game with a lot of trade skills.
More coming on the way! Please PM me if I missed any abbreviations, made any errors, and/or have a question
