Hey all. DDR (Dance Dance Revolution) is a music-based game which tests your reaction speed and timing. It's really fun and is playable on the computer via directional keys. If anybody is interested, post here or PM me. I'll help you install it and get you good beginner songs.

The link isnt working for me. Whatever, I'll just post everything here. Step 1: Go to prdownloads.sourceforge.net/stepmania/StepMania-3.9-alpha3.exe?download for the windows version of ddr or
prdownloads.sourceforge.net/stepmania/StepMania-3.9-alpha3.dmg?download for the mac version.
Step 2: Install the game once completed downloading Step 3: Getting songs. This is a little complicated. Go to www.bemanistyle.com Then click on "SimFiles" which is located on the left side of the site on the link bar. Now, look in the middle frame and click the link "original sims". From there, you'll see a list of links. Each link is a song playable on ddr. for starters, I recommend the song "SPEED OVER BEETHOVEN". Just type that into the space bar. Next, download the song and unzip it. Step 4: Installing songs. Go to your stepmania folder in program files. From their, click on the "songs" folder. Afterwards, create a folder in the song folder and name it "my first ddr mix" or anything you'd like. Afterwards, go to your unzipped folder, click on SPEED OVER BEETHOVEN. Inside that folder, you'll see yet another folder. Cut that folder and paste it inside your "my first ddr mix" folder. Now, start up the game and when you start game, it will list all the mixs you have and what songs are in each. Choose solo, choose your difficulty level (beginner for those who started)Choose "my first ddr mix", , and then choose SPEED OVER BEETHOVEN. Told you it was complicated . Good luck! if you need further help, PM me or IM me on aol, my screenname is Knuckles523. Oh, and if you want to try and master the hardest songs in the whole game, check out Max 300 and Legend of Max.

Max 300 is insane, even on some of the lower difficulties. Try that with a real pad.
