[glow=navy,2,300]Why is no one talking about this game? It is supposed to be one of the best GBA games of the year! It is supposedly very innovative and it has elements from Mario RPG (which was one of the best games of all time!). Also included in this game is the Mario Bros. multiplayer game that is in all mario games for GBA![/glow]

It's pretty good. The controls can get tedious when you're around enemies, trying to pull out your hammer. The game is actually pretty fun once you figure out the controls and battle systems. I think the game is hard, but maybe that's because I don't level up Mario and Luigi much...oh well...

It sounds really good, people have been telling me that it's supposed to be a SMRPG 3 or something?! I'm definitely going to rent this, and then buy it myself if it's good enough.
So whats the plot and stuff? You can only use Mario + Luigi? Is it an action RPG? Or a pure turn-based RPG? Or a small mix like SMRPG was?

SMRPG 3? What was 2? Cause Paper Mario definately didn't have the greatness of SMRPG, not worthy of being called SMRPG 2 lol.

Lol, I didn't enjoy Paper Mario much either, but yeah, that was what I was referring to, because that was SUPPOSED to be SMRPG 2, anyhow either way, is Mario and Luigi supposed to be some sort of sequel/series of SMRPG? How similar is it exactly? Whose the big bad person anyhow, I hope it isn't just Bowser stealing Peach... |

STORYLINE SPOILERS...
Something about some guy (a new guy to Mario games) steals Peach's voice and replaces it with explosives. I think Bowser tries to help you, but I'm not exactly sure.
OK, BACK TO NORMAL NOW...
Also, I know that you can't officially play multiplayer in the main game of this game, but with the game boy player, would it possible for someone to be Luigi and another to be Mario, or would it be too hectic?[/glow]

They have that old crappy multiplayer mario thing in from mario 2 and 3 on GBA. Also I am getting it for xmas along with Sword of Mana and SOCOM II.

Its very similar to Paper Mario and SMRPG. You walk around on a screen and when you bump into enemies you engage in a battle. You can use jump attacks, hammer or combo attacks. So far its really good, but I will have to beat it before calling it best gba game of the year, cause at this point it dosent look like its going to be.
