hmmm Golden Sun < Fire emblem? maybe by a hair or two. Golden Sun was great. I'd say there more equal to one being greater than the other. but Fire Emblem >>>>>>>>>> FFTA. I haven't played Mario and Luigi yet either........... *runs off*

I think fire emblem and golden sun is the best games in GBA, TO is also one of my favorite, FFTA is crap compare to fire emblem.

That game had me waiting for like 6 months... Then I buy it and within a few days I hate it...

Bleh, that's why it was a disappointment. It was highly anticipated and yet...... it's not as good as I expected it to be. It's a mediocre Square game. They can do much better than that. And they did with their SNES games.

AW and AW2 are my favorite GBA games next to CV:AoS and TO, but for some reason I never had any interest in buying FE. Well I actually started to think about how similar this game is to AW and I fell in love with the idea that the modern military units in AW would become fantasy units. I picked up FE along with the book(Always buy a book!) yesterday and I have been playing non-stop(I have nothing better to do! I am leaving for Parris Island in a few weeks!)!
I highly recommend this game to anyone who likes SRPGs and for anyone who loves AW as much as I do!
I give it a *****

I like this game better than AW actually. Maybe because it's more RPG-ish. I like the story better too. The annoying thing though, is that once one of your characters die, you lose them forever. Guess it adds to the challenge.

I like the fact that when one of your units dies you lose it forever. It makes you think more about what you are about to do. Just adds a bit more strat to the game.

Mohrg I hate your sig and your avatar......but I love your taste in games. AW and AW2 are my favs by far as well (were you able to beat the last level on Hard Campaign? If so, gimme a strategy!!). I have yet to really play FE, but I started it and played about 30 min or so and wasn't too thrilled, I guess I have to give it more of a shot though, everyone seems to love it. After all, it WAS developed by Nintendo's first-party guys Intelligent Systems, the same to do the AW's.

Locke, I am still trying to beat that same mission. Wish I could help ya, mate. As soon as I do, I'll just sent you my cart and you can pretend you beat it! ;D
FE will get much better. I'm on mission 13 right now and I am having a blast, hell I even brought it with me to the Dr. office and I never take my SP anywhere. Ya its kinda odd, I have a portable system, but I don't like taking it anywhere, its too pretty.
As for my sig and avatar, suck it up! BOO!!!

They're tutorials and easy as hell. 11+ is where it really starts. Besides, the main character changes too and the story gets deeper.

chapter's 1-20 are a cakewalk... I don't really understand why, but ch. 23 was like the hardest chapter in the game.... I got to where it was just the enemy leader left and then i decided to use the arena and i lost Heath..... Then after that try it took about 100 tries before i got most my units to lvl 20 and then beat mission...
