You kidding me? Raven is awesome in my game now that he's promoted. And paladins are good except for Marcus and Isadora. I thought there're only 2 archers........... Wil and Rebecca.

Now when i say archers i mean ranged units, and i think Lyn would be considered and archers and so would Rath, and dont forget about Louise.
And Raven sux in my game, that's the problem with random stat gains...

I hate how the stats are gained randomly too. Oh well, as long as I get stats I don't really care. I just hate it when you gain like ONE stat. :/ Well, there's always that RNG trick or whatever but I'm too lazy to use it, whatever it is. I heard it's time consuming and crap, so I won't bother.

HOW TO EXPLOIT THE RANDOM NUMBER GENERATOR
At any time in the battle field, the game has a lot of random numbers pre-generated and ready to go.
So a character kills an enemy. Seven random numbers will be used to determine which stats will increase, if any.
Let’s say a character has a 40% chance of increasing health and gains a level. Since the game has a random number ready, it will use it. If this random number is under 40, HP will increase. If the random number is over 40, HP will not increase.
The same goes for all of the other stats.
Now, here’s how to find out if your random numbers are over 50 or under 50.
Step 1:
Take a unit with an odd movement.
This unit must have CLEAR SPACE in all 8 spaces directly around it. This includes diagonals.
Basically, “clear space” is plain or road. If it is a flying unit, it's a lot easier, because they can go over terrain easily.
Step 2:
Now when you have a guy in position to kill an enemy, do the following.
It is now time to find out what the pre-generated random numbers are, over 50 or under 50.
Select your testing unit. Move the cursor one step to the right, and then move the cursor around in a circle around the unit. You should get the blue arrow moving around the unit in a circle.
At some point, the arrow will change from doing this (if the unit has a move of 5) `````l```UN____ `````l```IT````l `````l_________l
To this (example 1): `` ____ ``````l ``````l `````UN ``````IT
OR to this (example 2): l l____UN `````IT
If the arrow goes vertical first (example 1), the random number is under 50, which is good.
Now press B and do it over. Each time to do the circle and press B, one number is used.
Keep moving in a circle around and around, and keep track (I suggest writing down) all of the random numbers that the game had in store. Now, you’re going to want to find good numbers. I would say at least 5 numbers under 50. Such as:
Under Under Over Under Over Under
Something like that. Make sure there are seven, because there are seven stats to increase.
Preferably, you’ll want seven numbers under 50 in a row, but that’s uncommon.
Step 3:
Reset your game. Press A B Select Start at the same time, if you didn’t know already. Since you did not actually move, then the random numbers you used were not saved over.
step 4:
Now you know the upcoming numbers and you have a good 7 string of them, you’re going to use some of these first, before using the seven. Every time someone attacks and hits, 3 random numbers are used.
When someone attacks and misses, 2 are used.
This goes for you and the computer.
Say your guy can kill in one hit and will gain a level. Here are your numbers: (Your experience will be different. This is an example only)
Over Over Over Over Over Over Under Under Under Under Under Under Under
Six over and seven under. Getting seven under in a row is rare, but it does happen.
Now, you’re going to have to use up all numbers but the seven under 50. Hitting takes up 3 numbers. There fore, you’ll have to do the circle thing three times before you hit.
Doing the circle uses… (These numbers are from the above example. Your experience will be different.)
Over Over Over
Now you hit the enemy killing him. You use these #s… (These numbers are from the above example. Your experience will be different.)
Over Over Over
Now you gain a level, and the seven numbers under 50 will be used. You will probably gain most stats.
Likewise, if you will hit, then the enemy will miss, and you will kill, you must plan eight [3 (your hit) + 2 (enemy miss) + 3 (your hit)] steps ahead.
How This Works
Say the percentage of getting a stat is 40 out of 100, which is 40%. If you know the number is under 50 there’s a 40 out of 50 chance, or 80%.
Kind of a shaky explanation but I hope you got my point.
Thanks to Grodd for this info. He posted one something like this but I just refined it a bit more. Heck, I probably made it more complicated. Oh, well…
Yeah, it kind of is a pain, but you will get good enough so you will not have to write these numbers down; you will have it all in your head. Usually it takes a minute or so to do this trick. Most of the time I do this, but in the last few chapters it gets annoying so I just stop.
Oh, and if you do this trick, aim for 5, maybe 4 (4 is a bit low though) good numbers. Shooting for 7 is just... brutal.

That's what I heard too, so I never bothered. Maybe someday when I'm really bored or something... There's just too much to read.

Has anyone used Rebecca throughout the game? If you have how is she? Cause right know I'm in Laus and she is pretty good, but her only problem is str., and what about Lowen because he's really str right now but his speed is a little shaky...

I have and she's good. The strength isn't that big of a problem, since she always hits twice and is good at avoiding.
