Is he the paladin in Eliwoods chapter?
if so then I do use him but he ruins it.

Yes, he's that paladin who you start with in Eliwood's story and yeah, he ruins it... a lot. I used him in my first file, but found that I used him too much, so I started a new one without using him at all. My other characters are way better now. Marcus is just an EXP hog and and he's already promoted. Near the end, Marcus' stats will really suck compared to your other characters when they get to his level. Plus, his stat growths suck. He's strong compared to your other characters when you first get him but he sucks later, so I don't think it's worth using him. I guess it would be possible to use him and not have him steal all the EXP, but then it would be kind of pointless to have him there.

Hahaha marcus sucks, i lvl him to lvl 20 since i have nothing to do and he sucks, same with that female pally.

Florina is supposedly great if you take the time to level her up but I did and don't see how great she is. Oh well, maybe after I promote her.......

Florina is supposedly great if you take the time to level her up but I did and don't see how great she is. Oh well, maybe after I promote her....... .... Lvl her up to lvl 15 and also give her the angelic robe, if you are too lazy to train her, train the second peg knight that you get, i usually like her better. |

how do you promote them? isn't it at level 10? I have some characters at lvl 10 but they can't be promoted since they don't have the little emblem thing yet..........

You promote them by giving them a promotion crest and using it in battle. I wait til my characters are level 20 til I promote them. That way, they get the best stat growths.

Never promote anyone when they are lvl 10, always promote them at lvl 20, i only promote someone at lvl 10 is when im in the second last lvl and they have no time to lvl up.

Wait, what chapter are you on? There's a hero and knight crest in two chests in that chapter where you get Raven, I think... and then there's an elysian whip in this house in chapter 20. And that boss named Uhai (I think) has an Orion's Bolt that you get after defeating him. There're more, of course, but those are the ones I could think of off the top of my head.

there might be some on enemies that you have to steal from too. i think there is one on the boss on the chapter where you get ninian.
