Why not let us actually control the flow of a pokemon battle instead of relying on luck when we want a miss or a critical hit so instead we get to move the pokemon around in a battlefield and set the moves they have to certain buttons, because I myself really think the battles are very stupid and get old...

I'm not sure they should completely take out the old system, but implementing a... side series? in the pokemon group could be neat. When stadium came out what I wanted was just to have 1 pokemon each battle, and you get to move it around the stadium and fight smash bros. style...
that would've been awesome ;D
strategy could still have come into play with the weaknesses of the pokemon to each other, and maybe you could switch them out, and you'd still have to stick to only 4 special moves, plus jump, maybe a grab, and a few basic hits.

Pokemon stadium SUCKED It was just the battle system from R&B but with better graphics, it was a big waste, the only good thing about it was if you won in the gym battles you get to get one of the three begining pokemon which was good if you wanted the other two

Ya it did. Some of the minigames were fun though, it was like Mario Party.

Ya it did. Some of the minigames were fun though, it was like Mario Party. Except the first Mario Party was the only good one. After Two, it started going downhill. The minigames got better, true, but the core of the game, the boards, got so convoluted and twisted and impossible to navigate...

I went to EB and pre-ordered it and then got home played it and beat it in like 15 mins the first time I played it, what a waste of $50

Yeah, Pokemon Snap was a rent-and-beat-in-1-day game. Even with renting, it honestly wasn't worth the renting price. The only Pokemon game I've liked was Pokemon Red/Blue. Hey, they were addicting for quite a while But I haven't played any pokemon games evar. since red.

Well, it wasn't ABOUT beating it. It was about getting all those special shots, like surfing pikachu, or finding all the secrets (there were tons), or snapping all the pokemon (Hard), Getting all the upgrades... I could go on and on. Sure, it's easy enough to get to the end, but beating your old score and crap like that, I dunno, it amused me, that game.

Yes, it isn't a game where your goal is to just beat it. There're those annoying special shots and crap.. but it's just too annoying to get all of them. Oh well, that game got old pretty fast... just like any other Pokemon game. sigh.

I didn't wanna start a new thread, so I brought up this one. Anyway like yellow was to Red and Blue so was Crystal to Gold and Silver. See the pattern? Well guess what? ! ? That's right, sometime next year, Pokemon Emerald will be the next in line to follow Ruby and Sapphire. Rayquaza will be the pokemon representing the game. I'll let you be the judge of this one...

Well the Pokemon games are fun to play but the sequals are just more of the same. I stopped playing Sapphire after beating only the first gym. It got old fast, especially after I've played pokemon blue and silver. Not to mention almost all the new pokemon suck
