YET ANOTHER POKEMON GAME! I don't know how many of you know this yet, but if you read Locke's review on the site discussion board, you would know that two new Pokemon games, Leaf Green and Fire Red are coming out to Japan this year. Can't they just let the little buggers die already? Let's see, Pokemon titles: Pokemon Blue, Pkm Red, Pkm Pinball, Pkm TCG (on GB), Pkm Stadium, Pokemon Snap, Pokemon Puzzle League, Pkm Gold, Pkm Silver, Pkm Stadium 2, Pkm Crystal, Pkm Ruby, Pkm Sapphire, Pkm Pinball 2 and now Pkm Leaf Green, Pkm Fire Red. That's not even mentioning the actual TCG!  I've probably even left out a few! |

IIRC, Fire Red and Leaf Green are remakes of the old Red n' Blue...

[glow=navy,2,300]Hey, if Pokemon is making money for Nintendo, then why should they stop making them? They aren't really that bad of games anyways. I may not be a fan of them, but there is nothing wrong with them other than every one of the games have the same concept.

A nintendo supporter eh Vapour? Well most of us used to be a fan of the craze that was Pokemon...personally it's why I'm pissed off. But I do try their games anyway to see for any improvement.[/glow]

[glow=navy,2,300]Yes, I am a Nintendo supporter, but that isn't what I meant by that. I mean if anything a company of any sort is making them money, why should they stop making it? It would screw their company over.
Ex: The Hershey bar is one of the oldest and most popular chocolate bars and is just plain chocolate. Just because a few people in the world say "It's only chocolate" or "It's too plain", should they really stop making it?
Here's another example with kids toys. Little Tikes is a big toy company for toddlers. If someone were to say "Your toys are too childish", should they stop making them?
It's the same deal with Pokemon and Nintendo.

Blah blah blah, we're tired of Pokemon the end. I can see your point however. If they can still make money, why quit? I think it would be better if they came up with a new idead though, instead of the same old story type. What about playing as team rocket?

Why can't they just make a Pokemon RPG on GCN instead of all those weird games? I think it would sell much better than all those combined. :/

Pikachu!... and Pokemon Coliseum... but I dunno about a Pokemon RPG. |

I don't think it will have any new pokemon though... but it WILL be a new story thing. From what I saw in NP it was like pokemon have been turned evil and your this badass looking trainer that is out to free (you can steal pokemon now) pokemon from evil people and make them good again. |

I think they kind of over did it with pokemon. They created too many of those little critters and kind of ran out of names for them so all the new names suck and...they're running out of ideas
