I don't like punk at all, ever since the punk fad has started all the songs sound pretty m,uch the same and its really hard to find any good ones. Before I thought it was ok.

Anyways, the only popular punk bands that I really like are Blink 182, Good Charlotte and Gob (but gob has been around for awhile).[/glow]

I regularly make fun of my friends' tastes in music. They all like punk. I don't see why you would want to listen to pissed off highschoolers playing the same three chords over and over. And the lyrics... dear God the lyrics...
If I wanted to listen to that I would just grab my guitar and play D, E, and G chords for three minutes strait while singing about the Biology test I failed yesterday.

hahah but you like green day so don't say all punk. Yes, I like Green Day. I really should have said new punk. You know, the Good Charlottes, Sum 41s, and what have you. And Blink 182. I can't stand Blink 182. Two newer bands I do like are Dispatch and the White Stripes. |

Evanessence (unbelievable...) Yeah, unbelievably bad. They have two good songs, both which are overplayed, and the rest of their stuff sounds the same. Kinda like Linkin Park. They have maybe 4 or 5 decent songs, but the rest of it is a bunch of fucking screaming with background music. I don't like their lead singer, Chester something....he has no musical talent....all he does is screams. In The End was the only song were he sings well. I like the other guy better, the one that sounds like he's kinda rapping. |
