Tactics Ogre and Super Mario RPG. Those games are ones I still play.

ok i have to update my list. Super mario rpg secret of mana crono trigger ff7 shining force 2(sp?) Secret of mana 2 and i think dragon force has some rpg elements to it (it was my favorite sega saturn game)

Super Mario RPG is still hands down my favorite game of all time.
btw it may be just me but I don't think Playstation is Retro, ya know. since there have been still some games coming out for it.

Final Fantasy 3 (playing right now), Final Fantasy 2, Mario RPG and Chrono Trigger (although I only watched people play it).

Super Mario RPG is still hands down my favorite game of all time. btw it may be just me but I don't think Playstation is Retro, ya know. since there have been still some games coming out for it. true, but some of the rpgs for it are. btw smd, u can get a custom title. Congratulations

I agree with Swordmaster, it isn't very retro at all. The only retro RPG's on that system (IMO) are the ones that are remakes, and if that considers it a retro system, then GBA should be also (which it definitely isn't)

I can't believe I forgot about the Shining Force games. Two of my favorite games of all time are Shining Force and Shining Force 2.

I loved getting the secret class upgrades in shining force 2. sarah was the easiest to level in that game. when i was in a battle id just make her go back and use heal on her self and she got 10 exp each time
